This Museum is located at Letkol Wisnu Street ( Jalan Letkol Wisnu) In Denpasar, near Puputan Square. It was established by The Bali Museum Foundation ( Yayasan Bali Museum) in 1932. However, in 1966 it was handed over to the central Government of Indonesia in Jakarta and jointly operated by Culture Directorate General Departments. Since 2001, the operational management was returned to the Bali Provincial Government. The museum exhibits many historical and ethnographically collections.
