Museum in Bali

This museum is located at Hang Tuah Street in Sanur, nearby the Grand Bali Beach Hotel. This Museum is a memorial for the famous Belgian painter, A.J Le Mayeur de Merpes (1880-1958). It was officially opened in 1949 and since 1957 it became an Indonesian Government Museum and is managed by National Bali Museum Authority. This Museum exhibits a collection of the artworks of Le Mayeur during the years 1935 till 1957

This Museum is located at Letkol Wisnu Street ( Jalan Letkol Wisnu) In Denpasar, near Puputan Square. It was established by The Bali Museum Foundation ( Yayasan Bali Museum) in 1932. However, in 1966 it was handed over to the central Government of Indonesia in Jakarta and jointly operated by Culture Directorate General Departments. Since 2001, the operational management was returned to the Bali Provincial Government. The museum exhibits many historical and ethnographically collections.
