Negara is a good distance from Tabanan, the capital of Jembrana regency. The most exciting event in Negara is the bull races, a secular entertainment that began less than a century ago. Possibly it development from the custom of carrying home the harvested rice by bullock cart, or it may have been introduced from Java or Madura where the sport is strong. Bulls are carefully selected for strength and color, looked after and pampered and never used for plowing the field.

It is remarkable to see such ordinarily docile creatures thunder down to the finishing line at speeds up to 50 Km an hour. The agile charioteers often drive standing up and twist the bulls’ tails to give them spunk. For the fans, this regional sport of Jembrana is a great opportunity for gambling. A family that owns a winning bull gains much prestige and besides, the price will double. The little magic is believed to help, if you are fortunate enough to be in Bali during the bull racing season, usually between July and October, do not miss seeing them.

Negara is the farthest point west cited in this trip. The road, however continues around the island to Singaraja, through lonely regions of the northwest. The journey takes a full day, on the seldom used roads.

Yes, this is one attraction that education is very interesting to visit. If you are traveling to Bali, of course, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the site. As the name implies, this little island is a turtles breeding. Balinese people formerly like to eat turtle meat. In addition, Bali, most Hindus also use meat turtles as ritual in some religious ceremonies. But now, allowed only the use of turtle meat in a large religious ceremony only.

Turtle Island is good place to visit; beside you can see many turtles over there and also get some knowledge how to maintain a turtle. So, a trip to turtle island can add to knowledge and also safe because the turtle is a very gentle animal. To reach the island of turtles, you should use a boat from Tanjung Benoa. Travel about 15 minutes so much fun, where you do not just sit still during the trip, but also can enjoy the underwater beauty of Nusa Dua on the ship through the transparent glass to see of beautiful ornamental fish and coral underwater scenery. In addition, you also can feed the small fish with a bread boat driver has been prepared.

Arrive in Turtle Island; you will be invited to tour to see the child and the mother turtle. You can also take pictures with these turtles. Besides turtles, this island also has several other animals such as snakes, bats, and sea eagles, which certainly tame.
