Taman Ayun Temple, another exotic temple!

Pura taman ayun is beautifully appointed temple, with its own surrounding moat, in the village at mengwi, 18 Km west of Denpasar. The history of this temple is closely associated with the beginning of raja kingdom of Mengwi, in 1627 B.C. it was built in 1634 AD at that time the ruler of the first Raja of Mengwi, I gusti Agung Ngurah Agung who later become known as Ida Cokorda Sakti Blambangan. As the royal family temple of the Raja of Mengwi, this temple is a place to worship the royal ancestor who find their rest in a special shrine known as the “Gedong Paibon”. Following the pattern of most Balinese temples, Pura Taman Ayun have three connecting temple yards. The innermost sanctum is known as ” Utama Mandala”( The Highest Circle), the middle yard as ” Madia Mandala” and the outer as ” Nista Mandala” (The humble circle).

Have you heard about this Temple or probably you have visited while you are in Bali for holiday, yes ! Tanah Lot is one of popular tourist destination, here you can find uniqe balinese temple and amazing sunset or you can get holy-water which is a fresh water coming out from the Rock at the cave below of the temple ( fresh water at the sea)
Here is Tanah Lot History according to Balinese History - In the days of the ancient East Javanese Kingdom of Majapahit, there lived a famous saint called Dang Hyang Dwi Jendra. He was highly respected by all for his service to kingdom and its people in all matter relating to their prosperity, spiritual well-being and social harmony. He was well known for his dedication to “Dharma Yatra”-or spreading of the Hindu Religion, in lombok he was known as Tuan Semeru or Lord of Semeru. Semeru is a great volcano in East Java.
