Odalan is a celeberation of the first day when the temple was built. Some odalan are short. lasting from 1 to 3 days only, while other can last for up to a month. After the main religious ritual is finished, odalan becomes more social occasion, with dance, music, drama, comedy and shadow puppet plays.
